The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed in regards to the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is SRD to reach-out more info to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service level established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
